transavia.com spreads its wings at Weeze this winter

Schiphol, 3 July 2012

This winter, transavia.com will be spreading its wings to take even more passengers to their winter sun destinations. On 11 October, transavia.com starts flying from Airport Weeze (Niederrhein, Germany) to the very popular Spanish holiday destinations of Alicante (3 times a week) and Malaga (4 times a week). A transavia aircraft stationed at Airport Weeze to operate these flights, allowing transavia.com to further implement its strategy of offering more flights to winter sun destinations.
Besides these new routes, the number of flights to such destinations as the Canary Islands and Morocco is being increased. During the Christmas period, 3 additional flights will be taking off for the attractive and increasingly popular destination of Dubai.
‘We are still seeing an increase in the demand for flights from regional airports, particularly Rotterdam and Eindhoven’, says Bram Gräber, CEO of transavia.com. ‘There’s also enough margin in the market to add Weeze so that we can fly from this airport to our perennial sun destinations. This way, we’ll be strengthening our position in both the Dutch and German markets.’
Flight schedules to city trip destinations are being greatly improved as well. This means that the length of a customer’s stay can be used more effectively and that a short break or city trip is even more attractive for customers, even during the winter.
