Schiphol

On 16 November 2010 at 10 am, transavia.com will start ticket sales for all 2011 summer season scheduled services; 29 destinations and 42 routes. The summer schedule starts on 1 April 2011 and ends on 31 October 2011. The new summer season will see expansion of our network and more flights from regional airports.

Flying to new destinations from Amsterdam and Rotterdam
Next summer, transavia.com will increase its number of destinations substantially. The airline will fly you to the new attractive destinations of popular European cities from the airports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Starting spring of 2011, daily flights will be scheduled from Amsterdam Airport to the new destinations of Lisbon and Athens. This summer, the airline will also operate flights from Rotterdam to Madrid, Milan (Malpensa), Vienna and Prague four times a week. These new routes rate high in the Dutch top ten of leisure destinations.

More flights from regional airports
To reinforce its Dutch market position, this spring, transavia.com will start flying to a number of its current destinations from Eindhoven Airport as well. This concerns flights to the popular destinations of Barcelona, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Nice. In addition, the number of flights from Eindhoven Airport to Malaga and Faro will be increased. This summer, flights to Toulon, Biarritz and Montpellier will be operated from Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In addition, flights are scheduled from Groningen to Malaga twice a week.

Mr. Willem Hondius, Commerce and Statutory Director transavia.com: “We are very pleased to have added six very attractive leisure destinations to our network. We have also expanded our flights from regional airports. We want to show the customer it is not worthwhile to travel all the way to Germany or Belgium for a flight. transavia.com offers flights to these destinations at attractive prices, but service and passenger care will continue to be our top priority.”

In addition to the new destinations mentioned above, naturally we still have classic destinations like Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Pisa and Nice available for booking, with departures from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam or Eindhoven.

transavia.com will increase the number of flights to last year’s new destinations of Innsbruck and Istanbul. Scheduled services to Innsbruck will be operated several times a week and scheduled services to Istanbul will be operated daily.
