transavia.com wins two Feather awards three years in a row!

transavia.com was named best low cost airline and best charter airline for the third time in a row by the Dutch travel industry during the Dutch Tourism Expo held on 11 January 2011 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht in the Netherlands.
The announcement was made at the yearly Feather awards presentation (Verenuitreiking), organized by trade journal Reisrevue. The more than 40 award winners had all been selected by employees and managers of travel agencies across the Netherlands.
In the low cost airline category, transavia.com received 53% of all votes, followed by Air Berlin with 17%, Ryanair with 15%, Easyjet with 8% and ArkeFly with 3% of the votes.
With 44% of all votes, transavia.com also won in the charter airline category, followed by ArkeFly with 34%, Air Berlin with 10%, Martinair with 9% and Corendon with 1% of the votes.
Mr. Norbert Zoet en Mr. Rob van Dam accepted the Feather awards on behalf of transavia.com. Van Dam: “The travel industry clearly expressed its preference for our airline, which, of course, makes us very proud.”
