Airport

Innsbruck has one airport: Innsbruck Airport. The airport is located 4 km from Innsbruck’s centre. Buses leave the Maria Theresien Strasse for the airport every 15-20 minutes.

Public transport

Walk, cycle or take the bus through Innsbruck. Public transport is inexpensive. Tickets, which are sold in advance, must be stamped at the start of your journey in one of the machines. The special ‘TS’ bus line (The Sightseer) links up all the important sights in Innsbruck.

The main post office is at Maximilianstrasse 2. Open Mondays to Fridays from 07h00-23h00, Saturdays from 07h00-21h00 and Sundays from 08h00-21h00.
