One of the experiences of a lifetime is the cable train to the Hohensalzburg Fort. It is the best preserved medieval fort in Central Europe, with a view from the top of the Festungberg which at 560 meters high is truly breathtaking. The city with its church tower can be seen to the north, with the Alps to the south.
Address: The cable train departs from Festungsgasse 4.
