Salzburg has well-known designer brands, street fashion and vintage shops. If you are looking for unusual souvenirs, you will see that the handwork has an original Alpine touch. And of course, there is local costume and lederhosen. And you will find the Mozartkugeln sweets everywhere. Between 20 November and 24 December each year, the fairytale Christkindl market is held at the cathedral square and Residenzplatz in Salzburg. The stalls are full of wooden toys and gingerbread.
