There are many interesting boutiques in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. Take a walk around the Veronicas Centre, the Starco Centre and along the beach and you will soon find them. Anyone hunting for bargains should be sure to visit the markets, where leather goods can be purchased very cheaply. Shoes are also cheap in Tenerife, as are perfume and cosmetics. Electronic equipment is also cheap, because VAT in Tenerife is only five percent.

In Puerto de la Cruz the shopping centre at the bottom of the steps to La Paz is certainly worth a visit. Here you will find a large market with luxury goods, perfume shops, electronic shops and many internationally renowned clothing stores, such as Mango. On the other side of the street, opposite the shopping centre, you will find a Zara shop.

In Santa Cruz a nice shopping area can be found above the Plaza de España. At the top of the hill, away from the Plaza, you will find electronics and perfume, as well as a Zara shop and a large number of small boutiques that offer products at low prices.
