Airport
Fuerteventura Airport is located half way along the east coast, 3 kilometres from Puerto del Rosario and 35 kilometres van Corralejo.www.aena.es
Two bus routes go to the airport – one stops at Puerto del Rosario and Caleta de Fuste, departs every half hour and costs around €1.10, and the other goes to Puerto del Rosario and Morro Jable, departs approximately every two hours and costs around €7.30. Taxis wait outside of the arrivals hall and cost approximately €10 to Caleta de Fuste, €35 to Corralejo and €80 to Jandia. You can also hire a car from one of the hire companies at the airport.
Public transport
Fuerteventura has a good bus system that serves practically the entire island (apart from parts of the south west coast). For increased flexibility, you should hire a car. The road network is generally very good.Taxi

Calle General Franco, the main street in Corralejo, is full of souvenir shops, electronic goods and jewellers. This street attracts many pickpockets. You should also look out for pushy timeshare representatives with their scratch cards.Opening times
