Shopping
Fuerteventura offers you a wide range of shops with souvenirs of the island, colourful clothing and the market. For local handicrafts, lace and linen, you should visit Artisania Linares, a shop that exhibits these island-skills.
Corralejo’s shopping centres are located on Avenida General Franco, the main road that runs diagonally through the city. For surf wear you should visit No Work Team for bleached t-shirts and surf sunglasses. On the junction with Calle Gran Canaria, there is a local market on weekdays where African works of art and local handicrafts are sold.
The Centro Comercial Atlántico shopping centre offers a variety of shops under one roof which sell jewellery, gifts, clothing and electronic goods. There is a market every Saturday morning.
The prices in Puerto del Rosario that have not yet been affected completely by tourism are lower than in Caleta de Fuste. The busiest streets are Calle León y Castilla and Avenida Juan Bethencourt.
