Beach life
Although Gran Canaria has an abundance of cultural and green attractions, most visitors are attracted by its many vast beaches. Around 20 percent of the coastline consists of beaches of varying size, with various facilities and colours. Black sand is very common, due to its volcanic origins.Playa del Inglés

Puerto Rico

Sardina
A secluded bay in Galdar on the northern coast, sheltered by steep cliffs.Can be reached by bus numbers 102, 103 and 105 from Las Palmas.
