airport information
The Split Airport is located around 20 kilometres from the city. An Airport Bus operates to and from the city on a regular basis. The trip to the city takes around 30 minutes and costs around 30 kuna. For more information, visit www.plesoprijevoz.hr/schedulest.htm. In addition to the Airport Bus, there are also a number of normal bus services that can take you into the city. These buses are operated by the Promet Split bus company (lines 37 and 38).
public transport
The Promet Split bus company operates bus services in and around Split. Various night buses are also available. Bus tickets can be bought on the bus or at Promet Split booths.
taxi
The easiest way to order a taxi is to call 970. Taxis usually line up outside large hotels, in front of hospitals, near the harbour, in front of the main bus station and near the Riva.

Post offices can be recognised in Split by yellow signs stating Hrvatska Post.
pharmacy
Pharmacies can be easily recognised in Croatia by the symbol of a green cross. In most cases, pharmacies are open from 8 am to 1 pm and again from 3 pm to 7 pm.
