Airport
The airport of Copenhagen is situated on the island of Amager, approximately twelve kilometres to the south of the city centre. There are excellent train connections to both Malmö and Copenhagen. A direct train connection to the airport is available. The journey to Copenhagen takes approximately 15 minutes and to Sweden approximately 20 minutes.
Regional transport
The places around Copenhagen can be reached by regional trains. The busiest line is the one to Helsingør, which is called Kystbanen (coastal railway line). Among other, you take this train if you want to travel to Klampenborg (Dyrehaven) and to Humlebæk (Louisiana).
S-tog
The so-called S-tog is the train that takes you to the smaller municipalities around Copenhagen.
