Destination Toulon
Shopping
Toulon is a wonderful place for shopping, whilst at the same time you discover all the narrow streets and the fountains around the Place Puget and Rue d’Alger. In the chic Mourillon district you will find countless antiques and designer shops, and will get a good idea of how the houses are decorated here.
Marina
In the harbour area, with its post-war buildings, you will find many sports shops and also a shop where you can buy fishing tackle. A little further away is the Centre Commercial Mayol; a large, popular shopping centre in the harbour district with a floor area of 50,000 m². Most of the major brands are represented here: Disney Store, Célio (fashion), Go Sport (sports and leisure), Fnac (music, books), Etam (lingerie) and a large supermarket.
Rue d’Alger, Rue Hoche, Place Puget
In this area, which used to be called Little Chicago (in the oldest part of the town), you will find quiet, small fashion shops with the very latest in prêt-à-porter (daywear). And if all this shopping is not enough for you, there are plenty more shops to discover on the Rue Jean-Jaurès.
Le Mourillon
Finish your day in a deck chair on the beach of Mourillon, with ample shopping venues along the Fréderic Mistral Street and, a little further along, the Boulevard Sainte-Hélène and the Rue Lamalgue. Here you will find interesting interior design shops, fashion (including rugby fashion by Serge Blanco) or crystal.
