Nightlife
The island of Corsica does not really boast an extensive nightlife. However, just as everywhere else in South Europe, residents eat late and you will find that the areas in and around the cafés stay open even later. In Ajaccio, you can spend long summer evenings at the Place Foch, with its view of the statue of Napoleon. Concerts are often held at the Place St. Nicolas in Bastia. Besides the two biggest towns, clubs can also be found in the small villages of Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio.
