Grenoble is an atmospheric city, surrounded by the mountains of the Dauphiné Alps. Neighbouring Lyon, the third largest city and food capital of France, will also not disappoint you. The old city centre of Vieux Lyon, which appears on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites, is home to well-preserved buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

- Parc Paul Mistral: large park in the middle of the city
