Eating out in Berlin is a pleasure, for three reasons: there is an abundance of restaurants, the standard is generally high and they are still affordable too.
Visitors will find dishes from throughout the world here. The many superb Asian restaurants, with their authentic Japanese, Thai or Chinese dishes, are remarkable. The fact that Berliners love pasta is clear from the large number of cosy Italian restaurants that the city boasts. People like to eat out here, so visitors are advised to book.
Monsieur Vuong
One of the city’s best restaurants is situated on one of the most beautiful streets in Berlin. Enjoy crisp, fresh Vietnamese dishes and finish off your meal with traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee. Kuchi
This well-known Sushi restaurant is situated in one of the most pleasant areas in West Berlin. Horizons are broadened here, without giving up the classic Japanese tradition. Good Time
One of the best Thai restaurants in the city. Elegant atmosphere, wines at the right temperature and sophisticated dishes. The wooden figures have been carved just as perfectly as the carrots on your plate. Address: Chausséestraße 1 (the Mitte area) U-Bahn: Oranienburger Tor
Schwarzenraben
This has been a gastronomic pearl in Berlin for a long time now. Guests will find all their favourite Italian delicacies here: good wines, sausages and cheeses. Alt Luxemburg

I Due Forni
This is the pizzeria favoured most by Berliners. The delicious pizzas are served by Italians with punk hair styles. The atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed and the red wine flows liberally. Cafés
In Berlin, people like to lounge in cafés, enjoying a brunch, reading the newspaper and people-watching. Join them, with a delicious cup of tea and some cream cake.
Galao

Schwarz-Sauer

Barcomi’s Deli

Café Einstein Stammhaus
This fantastic villa houses the oldest Wiener Kaffeehaus in the city. Everything is served here, from a tasty breakfast to afternoon tea. You’ll get a warm feeling inside from the generous portions of apple strudel served. Be careful at the high-street chains – you won’t find the same quality.
