Airport
The Friedrichshafen airport is located three kilometres north-east of the city. By far the easiest way to travel to central Friedrichshafen is by train. The Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn (BOB) takes you either to the central train station, the Stadtbahnhof in 5 minutes, or the port station, the Hafenbahnhof, in around 10 minutes. A one-way ticket costs 1.20 Euro. A taxi ride will cost you some 5-8 Euro and will take about 8 minutes. The airport is usually closed between 11.00 pm and 05.00 am, which means an overnight stay there is not possible. Phone: +49 (0)7541 28 41 20
