To seeTo see

A single glimpse of the map of the city shows that the centre has almost as many canals as it has streets. Whereas most of the small streets look more like alleys – short and narrow – the canals are much wider. Which is the reason why only few residents of Amsterdam use a car. It is much easier to take the bus or tram. But the bicycle is the most popular and most practical means of transport in Amsterdam.
