To doTo do

Dazzling, as this city is, Rotterdam has an enormous amount to offer – it is a shopping Mecca with one of the best club scenes in Europe and also offers a wide array of cultural activities. Rotterdam suffered heavy bombardments during the Second World War. The city was then rebuilt and this resulted in many daring, innovative and interesting buildings. Although Rotterdam is mainly known as a result of the harbour, which is one the largest in the world, there is so much more to do in this city with its 600.000 inhabitants.

The harbour

If you are in Rotterdam, you should not miss making a round trip on the Spidoboot, which allows you to explore the enormous harbour area.
Address: Spido, Willemsplein 85.

The Zoo and the Oceanium

If you want to enjoy a day out with the entire family, the Rotterdam zoo is the perfect place to go. There you can explore flora and fauna from all over the world.
Address: Diergaarde Blijdorp.
