ShoppingShopping

The Hague is perfect for shoppers. Whether you’re looking for luxurious warehouses, shopping malls or small boutiques, the atmospheric shopping streets in the city centre of The Hague offer a variety of choices for even the most demanding shoppers. This is also where you find the Bijenkorf, a typical Dutch warehouse with quality clothing, interior decoration, books, music and other goods in a wide price range.

From the Bijenkorf, you can easily walk to the Prinsestraat, a shopping street with a great reputation for its beautiful shops. Here you can buy arts, gifts, food, fashion, furniture and much more.

If the widespread shopping area in the city center doesn’t meet your needs, more exclusive clothing boutiques, antiquarians and jewelers can be found on the Denneweg and Frederikstraat. These streets are frequented by the Dutch rich and famous.

Also, don’t forget the Haagse Markt, the biggest market in Europe which is popular for its extremely low prices. Over 500 market vendors offer Dutch products as well as exotic goods. You can find food, clothing, toys and many more items on the Haagse Markt.

The Hague has many more shopping areas where you can have a great day out. For more information, please visit the local tourist office.
