A tram tour is an ideal way of getting to know Milan. Line 1, for example, runs from the Central Station to the historic centre, the Piazza Cairoli and Castello Sforzesco.

The Cathedral

The Cathedral is the city’s symbol. Building work started in 1386 and was only completed 500 years later. The building is a masterwork of Gothic architecture, a style that you will not encounter in the rest of Italy.

Cenacolo Vinciano

Here you will find one of the world’s most frequently reproduced and best-known work of art: Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Because of the crowd, you would be advised to make an appointment for viewing.

Pinacoteca di Brera

This fine museum contains a series of famous works by Mantegna, Giovanni Bellini, Bramante and Caravaggio.

San Siro

The home stadium shared by Internazionale and AC Milan. San Siro contains Italy’s only football museum.
