The Royal Palace

Reggia di Capodimonte

A splendid view of the Bay of Naples. The museum contains masterworks by Titian, Botticelli, Perugino and Raphael.

Castel Maschio Angiolino

This castle was an important cultural centre visited by such artists and writers as Giotto, Petrarch and Boccaccio.

The San Lorenzo Maggiore Church

A special building from the late 14th century. A manger in actual size can be admired in the church at Christmas each year.

National Archaeological Museum

This is one of the world’s most important archaeological museums and contains a large number of articles from the Bourbon collection, from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Pompeii, Capri and Sorrento
