The Neapolitans consider their cuisine to be one of the world’s best. Are they right? You will only know this after you have tasted a real pizza, various kinds of pasta with a tomato or meat ragu or fish, or the typical little cakes (babà and sfogliatella). Neapolitan cuisine consists of basic ingredients such as oil, pecorino cheese, tomato ragu and fragrant herbs.
