St. Mark’s Square

If you really want to witness the power of the old Venetian empire, this is where you need to go. This is where you will find St. Mark’s Basilica, decorated with an incredible number of plundered treasures, the Doge’s Palace with its grand, stately rooms and majestic clock tower, and the Campanile, from which you have a beautiful view of Venice.

Ca’ Rezzonico

Ca’ Pesaro

Ca’ Pesaro is the city’s museum of modern arts and is located in a historical palazzo. Address: Fondamenta Pesaro, Santa Croce

Rialto fish market

Visit the market on Saturday. The fish merchants, the busy atmosphere, the old façades and the canal create an experience for all the senses. The best butchers are also found here.
