Nightlife
In the summer, it is pleasant to stroll along the terraces on and around Gasaa Square, a perfect place to people-watch and to chat.
Most hotels offer their own nightlife, but there are also cafés (mainly frequented by men) and clubs. But you should be aware that in Arabic countries, it is not the norm for everyone to go to clubs. Many of the locals consider clubs to be places for tourists.
The main clubs in Agadir are:
- Flamingo: top entertainment for a broad spectrum of the public
- Papa Gayo: Agadir’s largest club with a trendy clientele
- Club Salam: beautiful from both the inside and the outside, with an impressive view
- Alhambra Cabaret: the best shows in the city
These and other clubs begin to get going at around 1 o’clock in the morning and often charge a 100 Dirham entrance fee. Drinks in the clubs are expensive. You can also enjoy belly dancing performances while you eat.
