Nightlife

The southern part of Alicante, which is known as La Zona, offers the best and most exuberant nightlife. You can find pubs, beer cafés and nightclubs here. La Zona lies close to the Avenida de Cajal, Paseo del Doctor Gadea and the surrounding streets.

Clubbers can take their pick from a large number of music bars that are open all night. The most popular are Bar Potata and Puerto di Rana. The Canníbal Pub can be found at César El Guezabal 26 and is open until 03h00 from Monday to Thursday and until 05h00 on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are not staying in Alicante itself, in the summer you can ride the Trensnochador, a train that runs from 21h00 until 07h00. The train stops at all of the places between Alicante and Altea where there are discotheques and popular bars.
