To seeTo see

A great deal of Barcelona’s attractiveness is due to its many sights, and the city, located on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, has something for everyone.

Sagrada Familia

This is perhaps the most famous building site in the world. Why not take a look inside the church that is likely never to be finished? Address: Mallorca 401

Espai Gaudí – La Pedrera

Even if you don’t have time to visit all of the buildings by Gaudí, you should definitely not miss this one. The Gaudí Museum is located on the very top floor; if possible, you should definitely treat yourself to a drink on the rooftop terrace. Address: Passeig de Gràcia 92

Nou Camp

This is the home ground of FC Barcelona. Even if you are not a football fan, you should still go along and take a look. Address: Avenida Aristides Maillol

Santa Maria del Mar

The church of Santa Maria del Mar is the most beautiful church in Barcelona and is reputed to be the best example of Catalan gothic that there is. The feeling of space inside this church is absolutely brilliant and is further underlined by the slim pillars and the modest decoration of the chapels. Addres: Plaça Santa Maria 1 Metro: Jaume I

Parc de Collserola

The green lung of the city. Immediately behind Barcelona itself lies a green zone totalling 8000 hectares – 22 times larger than Central Park in New York. The easiest way to reach the park itself is by taking the regional train (FGC) from Catalunya station: Take the train in the direction of Terrassa or Sabadell and get off at Baixador de Vallvidrera, from where it is only a short walk to the park information centre, the Centre d’Informació. Address: C/l’Església
