Girona-Costa Brava Airport

The Girona-Costa Brava airport lies 12 kilometres from Girona. No public transport is available to Girona, but there is a bus to Girona’s bus station every hour between 5h00 and 22h00. The journey takes 25 minutes. The bus from Girona to the airport departs every hour between 5h30 and 00h30. A single journey costs €1.75 and a return costs €3.30.

There is a taxi stand just outside of the arrivals hall and the 15-20 minute journey to Girona costs around €18.

Public Transport

Girona is not a very large city and its historic centre can easily be explored on foot. If you wish to visit the surrounding area and cities, Girona has an excellent transport system with trains and buses. Both the bus station and the train station are located on the Plaça Espanya and offer regular connections to Barcelona, Figueres and the Costa Brava.
