La Rambla de la Llibertat and the streets in and around the old district offer many shopping opportunities and as you walk around, you will find small and original shops everywhere, selling unique items or clothing.

On the opposite side of the Onyar river, you will find more expensive shops in the lively Santa Clara street, which sell everything from shoes to items for the home.

The Centro Comercial Girocentre shopping centre and Girona’s version of the Spanish department store El Corte Inglés can be found in the old district at Carrer Barcelona 106-110. Bus L-2 departs for the Centro Comercial every half hour.

The new shopping paradise at the edge of Girona will certainly appeal to shopaholics. The Espai Gironès boasts over 120 shops, 11 cinemas and a bowling alley. Bus L-4 will take you there in 20 minutes – it is the last stop on the route.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays you will find a market in the Parc de la Devesa where clothing, handicrafts and food are sold on small stalls.
