Airport
The airport of Valencia is situated around eight kilometres west of the town. The bus will take you to town in around 20 minutes. Airport website
City transport
Valencia’s city transport consists of the bus, tram and underground.
Valencia Card
Tourists can purchase the Valencia Card for unlimited travel within the city. This card also gives you discounts in museums, shops and restaurants.
Post
The main post office in Valencia is open on workdays from 08h30 to 20h00 and on Saturdays from 09h30 to 14h00.

Chemist’s
Outside normal opening hours the chemist’s shops are open according to a roster. Every pharmacy displays a schedule with pharmacies that are rostered to be opened.
Dentist
Spanish dentists are virtually all private dentists. In the case of acute symptoms, you are better off visiting the nearest hospital or dialling 112.
Opening hours
Normally the shops are open from Monday through Saturday between 09h30 and 13h30. The shops close for a siesta between 13h30 and 16h30, after which they open again until 20h00. The larger department stores stay open longer, especially in summer.
