Dubai is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination. The city offers a wide range of activities and sites, including traditional Arab markets and modern architecture.

Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is an 830-metre tall building in the centre of Downtown Dubai and one of the four most popular sites in Dubai. The lift ‘shoots’ you to the top at a speed of 42 kilometres per hour. The 124th floor has an observation deck with spectacular views. A restaurant is located two floors below the observation deck.

Dhow round-trip boat tour
A round-trip boat tour on a traditional Arab ship called a ‘dhow’ can be taken from the Dubai Marina district. If there are enough passengers, the boat departs once every hour from the marina for a one-hour tour. It is also possible to go on a round-trip boat tour from Dubai Creek.

Desert safari
An absolute must is to take a desert safari tour. There are several options, such as an organised group tour or getting behind the wheel of your own 4x4. Not only can you go on a day safari, but night safaris are also organised. They allow you to experience the desert in a totally different way.

Dubai Creek
As it moves towards the interior, the Creek opens up into a marshland that is home to 27,000 birds. Many of these birds are pink flamingos, which stay here all year round. The Deira side of the Creek has a wide boulevard, while the Bur Dubai side has a beautiful park.
