guidelines and fares

General information
The standard luggage allowance is always mentioned on the ticket or the confirmation of the booking. On the basis of, among others, the Treaty of Montreal, transavia.com has limited liability in the case of loss of or damage to luggage. We therefore advise that you always take out travel and luggage insurance. Poorly packed and/or fragile luggage is not accepted.

The luggage allowance
The luggage allowance for standard hold luggage on the flights of transavia.com is a maximum of 20 kg per person. For babies up to 2 years old, a luggage allowance of 10 kg, inclusive of buggy and/or Maxi Cosi applies. For hold luggage above 20 kg, a fee of € 9 per kg per single journey applies. In the case of departures from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Rotterdam Airport, luggage items may not weigh more than 32 kg per item. When departing from other airports, you may get in touch with the airport concerned.
Hand luggage
Hand luggage may be taken with you into the cabin. The hand luggage allowance per person is:
