Transport to/from the airport

Grenoble Airport is located about 40 km north-west of the city. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are located in front of the terminal. Please bear in mind that the fare may be considerably high due to the distance from the city centre.
  • Bus

    There are shuttle buses that run all day between the airport and the centre of Grenoble. It is cheaper to travel by bus, but it also take longer.

  • Bus

    Grenoble has an extensive bus network. The bus is especially useful when travelling long distances or when visiting larger cities outside Grenoble.
  • Tram

    Grenoble has four tram lines. Useful: you can use your tram ticket for your bus trip too. The ticket remains valid for 1 hour.
  • Train

    Do you want to see more than Grenoble? Travel quickly and conveniently by train to cities such as Paris.
  • Taxi

    In Grenoble, you can hail taxis anywhere on the street. You will also find taxi ranks at the train and bus stations, among other places.
