Transport to/from the airport

Paris Orly Airport is located about 18 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    Taxis are parked outside the airport, in front of the arrival hall. A taxi ride to the centre of Paris costs at least €45. The fares are higher on Sundays and public holidays, as well as early in the morning and late in the evening. 
  • Bus

    You can also take the RATP Orlybus to get to the centre of Paris. RATP is the public transport company in Paris. The buses and the taxis are parked outside the airport, in front of the arrival hall.

Transport in the city/region

Travel anywhere within Paris:
  • Metro

    The most convenient way to explore Paris is by metro. There are 16 city lines and 5 regional lines (RER) that will take you anywhere in the city and beyond. You can pick up a free metro map at all metro stations.
  • Bus

    Travel comfortably to all the attractions in Paris. The bus offers a good view of the city while you are travelling.
  • Tram

    Do you want to traverse Paris? Take the tram! You can easily change to the metro or bus at every tram stop.
  • Taxi

    Most taxi ranks are located near the sights of Paris. You can also hail a taxi on the street.
