Transport to/from the airport

The airport of Lesbos is located about 8 km to the south east of the capital city Mytilini. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi or bus.
  • Taxi

    The taxi ranks are located outside, in front of the arrival hall. Most taxis have a meter. Make sure it is turned on before departing in order to prevent any unpleasant surprises. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Mytilini.
  • Bus

    From the airport, there is a good bus connection to the centre of Lesbos. You will find the buses are outside, in front of the airport.

Travel anywhere on Lesbos:
  • Bus

    Lesbos has an excellent bus service to the larger towns on the island. The bus station is located in the centre of Lesbos. From here, you can get anywhere on the island by bus. 
  • Taxi

    You can hail a taxi anywhere on the street on Lesbos. You can hire a taxi at the taxi ranks in Molyvos and Petra.
