London Luton Airport is located about 50 km from the city centre. You can travel to/from the airport by taxi, bus or metro.

  • Taxi

    London Luton Airport has a taxi rank next to the terminal. The taxi journey to the centre of London costs about £75.
  • Bus

    Buses depart from London Luton Airport to the centre of London 60 times a day. The National Express buses, with number A1, will take you to London in about 35 minutes. 
  • Train

    A shuttle bus departs every 10 minutes from London Luton Airport taking you to the Luton Airport Parkway train station within 10 minutes. From here the train takes you to St Pancras train station within 20 minutes.

  • Bus

    You can travel affordably around London on the famous red buses. Many buses ride 24 hours a day and you can also use the special night buses. You cannot buy a ticket on the bus. You pay with an Oyster Visitor Card that you charge up with credit.
  • Metro (The Tube)

    You can hail taxis on the street in London or get one from a taxi rank. The taxis in London are completely black, hence why they are also called black cabs. If the yellow light on the roof is lit, the taxi is available.
