Lanzarote, Spain

Pearly white beaches, a beautiful green north and a spectacular volcanic landscape. Lanzarote is an island like no other!

Lanzarote is magical. At the heart of this beautiful island is a volcanic moonscape - it sometimes looks as though you are on another planet. An absolute must is the Timanfaya National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hundreds of years ago more than 100 volcanoes destroyed this part of the island and it is now known as the Montañas del Fuego, the Fire Mountains. The best beaches are at the southern end of the island. Its name says it all: Playa Blanca has wonderful pearly white beaches and fantastic clear water.

When are you flying to Lanzarote?

With 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, no other place in Europe has more sun than the Canary Islands. It is sometimes said that it is always spring here. A warm Spanish spring as the temperature in the winter is still around 20 degrees. In Lanzarote in the summer, when it gets up to 30 degrees, cool off with a glass of ice cold sangria. And naturally enjoy it while you paddling in the Atlantic Ocean. Have you already booked your flight to Lanzarote?
