If you lose your luggage or forget something on board, naturally we will do everything we can to reunite you with your luggage. Please do keep in mind that Transavia is not responsible for luggage forgotten on board.

If your luggage has not been found after 3 days, you can complete a B.I.F form (baggage inventory form) online. On this form, provide a detailed list of the contents of your suitcase. You will automatically see this form displayed if you request the status of your missing luggage after 3 days.
From day 5 to day 21, Transavia will continue looking for your luggage. If your luggage has not been found after 21 days, you will receive an e-mail from us with information on what to do next.

Once your luggage is found, we will bring it to you at your holiday or home address as quickly as possible. In some countries, however, it is not possible to deliver your luggage to your holiday or home address due to safety regulations. In this case, you will have to pick up the luggage at the airport.
If you have indicated that your luggage is missing and you are not in your country of residence, you can request compensation for replacement items. This compensation covers the costs of replacement items like toiletries. Once your luggage has been returned to you, you can request this compensation within 21 days. Make sure to save all receipts for purchases of replacement items.
If you have travel insurance, it is advisable to request compensation from your insurance company. This is because we have only limited liability for damaged luggage. If you don’t have travel insurance, you can request compensation from us. You do this using our online form.
