Copenhagen

If Copenhagen is famous for one thing only, it is Scandinavian fashion. And you buy that in the centre of the city in the long shopping street called Strøget. This street is full of European brands and boutiques carrying Danish designs. If you prefer to shop under cover, then go the Torvehallerne shopping centre. Tip! Copenhagen has wonderful home decoration shops. Put Søstrene Grene and HAY on your must-do list.

Sunday: closed l Open on the first Sunday in the month from 12 pm to 4 pm.


Lisbon

Combine a lovely, sunny city trip with a weekend of shopping: Lisbon has it all! From wonderful fashion houses and famous chain stores to local boutiques and vintage shops: who could ever get enough of that? The car-free street, Rua Augusta, is the main shopping area, but don’t forget the Bairro Alto and Chiado districts either. Here you can shop for famous as well as lesser-known fashion brands. Tip: Just outside Lisbon you will find the popular Colombo Shopping Centre with over 400 shops!

Barcelona

Whether it is large fashion chains or special boutiques that you are after, Barcelona has something for every shopaholic. There are well-known fashion brands such as Zara or H&M on every street corner. Are you looking for unique items? Then go to the Raval and El Born areas. Or the popular shopping street Portal de l’Àngel in the Barrio Gòtico area. There is a mix of Spanish chains and international brands here.

It then follows that you need a fat wallet to shop in many shops. Tip: the Galeries Lafayette department store. If you are looking for less expensive brands, then head to other areas such as La Défense. You can shop till you drop here in the Les Quatre Temps shopping centre. Success is guaranteed!
