Wintery adventure in Oslo

Salzburg

Salzburg: the perfect starting point

Milan Bergamo: winter fun for all ages

Milan Bergamo is the place to ski and snowboard. There are awesome ski slopes for all ages. Rent a car and discover the Italian Alps around Milan Bergamo. You will find Livigno after about a 3.5 to 4-hour drive. The ski slopes there are large and you will almost always enjoy a thick layer of snow. Shopaholics can also party here, because shopping is tax-free. Closer to Milan Bergamo you will find the Aprica and Tonale Pass, after a 2 to 3-hour drive. Aprica is known as the perfect winter sports destination for families, with wide slopes. Tonale Pass is at the foot of the Presena glacier and is ideal for beginners, as well as people with some experience.

Verona

Verona: unexpectedly fun winter sports

You might not expect it, but from Verona you can easily reach the southeastern side of the Italian Alps: the Dolomites. This area is a wonderful place for a winter sports holiday, with steep mountains, lots of sun, and good food. Fly to Verona and after a 2 to 3 hour car ride, you’ll find yourself in the Madonna di Campliglio, a massive ski area. Are you a beginner skier or snowboarder? Then Monde Bondone is the place for you (1.5 to 2-hour drive). If you have more experience, you can still do well here. Or, head on over to San Martino di Castrozza (2.5 to 3-hour drive), where you will be treated to a gorgeous view of the Dolomites.
