What are our employees' stories in everyday life? People of Transavia is a series of mini-documentaries about the people behind Transavia's uniform. You get to know our employees through their beautiful and moving stories. About special passions, foreign loves and life in general. You will see it in People of Transavia, in which we show how different we are and at the same time together form Transavia's DNA.

Pilot Vedran on the Pilots for Charity mission

Pilot Vedran is campaigning for Pilots for Charity, a foundation that offers sick children a unique flying experience through virtual reality. When he was a child, Vedran fled to the Netherlands during the Bosnian Civil War. "I don't know what my life would have been like without that war, but it certainly left its mark". In this People of Transavia episode, we return to Bosnia as Vedran reflects on his difficult past. His experiences have shaped him into a true family man and have given him extra motivation to help others.

Janneke deciphers centuries-old diaries

Janneke has a great admiration for England's Anne Lister, also called the 'first modern lesbian'. With a large group of volunteers, she transcribed Lister's century-old diaries. In this episode of People of Transavia, Janneke visits the hometown of Halifax and talks about what Anne Lister means to her. She also candidly shares her story of coming out of the closet and now she is committed to diversity. Within Transavia, but also in her private life.

Dariusz and his relief mission in war zones

After a turbulent past in communist Poland, Dariusz commits himself to relief work in war zones. Dariusz is a dedicated operations controller, who has devoted his life wholeheartedly to helping people in crisis, including the war between Ukraine and Russia. "I can't stand injustice. I feel anger with the war in Ukraine, I feel anger with Gaza." In this People of Transavia episode, he tells us more about his humanitarian mission.
