We are Transavia, an airline that was founded in 1965 as Transavia Holland. 

In 2003, we became a full subsidiary company of KLM, which is part of the AIR FRANCE KLM Group. Within that group, we operate independently in the market. We provide mainly charter flights and scheduled flights to summer and winter destinations in Europe, focusing on the Mediterranean region.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is our main airport in the Netherlands, but you can also fly with us from Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport.

In addition to our home base in the Netherlands, we have had a second home base in France since 2007: you can fly with us from Paris-Orly, Lyon and Nantes. Together, in 2014 we have taken no less than 10 million passengers to their destinations.

To continue our passion for flying and for our passengers, we have added a new foreign home base on 1 December 2015: Munich.

Our fleet

Transavia flies with a young and environmentally friendly fleet of 56 Boeing 737 aircraft, in particular the 800 series.
