How do I cancel my booking?

If you want to cancel all or part of your booking, we explain how you can do that. If you have booked a car, hotel, parking space, activity, luggage service or insurance through Transavia, read on!

Cancel entire booking

The entire booking means the airline ticket(s) of all passengers in the booking and any extras purchased, such as hold luggage and seat reservation. You can easily cancel your entire booking via My Transavia. At the bottom of the page, click the 'cancel booking' button. The main booker will receive an email to confirm the cancellation.

Please note: If you cancel the booking, you will not get a refund. In some cases, you can rely on your cancellation insurance. If you have it, it is best to contact your insurance company to find out if and how you will get your money back. Sometimes an insurance company asks for a no-show statement. This is a statement confirming that you did not take the flight. You can apply for a no-show statement through My Transavia

Cancel part of your booking

If you would like to cancel part of your booking, i.e. only one of the flights or one of the passengers, you can do so using the online contact form or by contacting our Service Centre

If you didn’t book directly with Transavia, contact your travel agent to cancel your booking.

Car, hotel, parking, activity or baggage service via Transavia

These reservations are not covered by your full booking. They are therefore not automatically cancelled. You have to do that yourself through the provider: 

  • Car rental: CarTrawler 
  • Hotel: Booking.com 
  • Parking: through the airport website 
  • Activity: Get your Guide 

Travel or cancellation insurance via Transavia 

If you took out travel or cancellation insurance through Transavia with your booking, the insurance does not fall under your entire booking. Your insurance with Chubb will therefore not be automatically cancelled. You can do a number of things:

  • Use your cancellation insurance. Submit your claim through the Chubb claims portal
  • Cancel your cancellation insurance or travel insurance. Please contact our Service Centre 

Please note: you will only get your money back if you cancel the insurance policy or policies no later than 14 days after purchasing your insurance.
