You may carry a maximum of 1 small lighter on the plane. This lighter must be carried on your person in your pocket, for example, and not in your cabin luggage.

What about electrical appliances and batteries/power banks?
You may not have thought about it before, but your telephone, tablet, e-reader, laptop, charger (battery) and power bank contain a so-called lithium battery. E-cigarettes and vapes often also have a lithium battery. For reasons of safety on board, you have to take these types of batteries in the cabin, e.g. in your hand luggage.

You may bring a maximum of 15 electrical devices in total with lithium batteries up to 100 Wh each.

Read all the rules in our FAQs on electrical devices with a lithium battery and loose batteries including lithium.
