Can I take my walking poles with me?

Yes, you can take your walking poles with you when travelling. We differentiate between 2 types: non-medical walking poles and medical walking poles.

Non-medical walking poles

Using walking poles for a steep mountain hike? Then they usually have sharp points and cannot be transported in the cabin. You can take your walking poles in the hold luggage. Pack them well so they can arrive undamaged at your destination, for example in a special bag or wrapped in bubble wrap.

Medical walking poles

Do you need a walking pole to get around? Then you can take them in the cabin with you. Medical walking poles usually have protective caps and blunt ends, making them safe for you to take on board with you. Prefer to transport your walking poles in the hold? That’s also possible, of course.
