Tips for a smooth trip
Check your luggage in on time
Winter sports equipment needs extra checks, so make sure that you’re at the airport with plenty of time to spare. Check when the check-in desks open to make sure that your equipment will be taken to the airplane on time.
Only taking ski shoes with you?
You can also take them in you cabin luggage, as long as they fit within the maximum weight and dimensions. Choose cabin luggage when booking your flight or later in My Transavia.
Avalanche airbag
You can also take an avalanche airbag with you. However, it must have a pyrotechnic trigger mechanism (max 200 g net division 1.4 S and less than 250 ml of compressed gas from division 2.2). The backpack should be well packed and should not be able to be activated by itself. The airbags in the backpack should have pressure relief valves.
