How much luggage am I allowed to bring for my baby, for whom I have purchased a seat?
If you have booked a (reserved) seat for your baby (age 0-2), you must bring your own approved car seat. This is compulsory. The requirements the car seat must meet are given here.
In addition to the car seat, you can bring the following items for your baby for free:
- One piece of hand luggage of 40 x 30 x 20 cm. Always place this under the seat in front of you.
- 1 item of hold luggage of a maximum of 10 kilos. This can be for example a trolley, a pram, a folding umbrella buggy or a travel buggy.
If you want to bring extra cabin luggage in addition to your hand luggage for your baby, you can add a cabin bag to your booking for a fee. You can do this during booking or in Mijn Transavia.
