Useful travel tips for Valencia
We have tips to make your trip to Valencia even more enjoyable. An important meal in Valencia is the esmorzar and takes place between 10:00 and 12:00, perfectly timed between breakfast and lunch. But don't call it brunch, because Valencians will not be happy about that. Families and groups of friends enjoy this meal on weekends. Want to try it too? Look for a café with the Premis Cacau d'Or (the Golden Peanut Award).
Valencia is also known for its oranges. You will spot them as decoration on tiles at tourist attractions and hanging from trees along the streets. We don't recommend picking them here, as this variety is not edible. You can find edible oranges and all kinds of other local specialities at Mercado Central.
