During the first 2 weeks of the month, some 400 associations work on sculptures that can be seen throughout the city. The festival really erupts on the 15th of March, when the sculptures are finished. The festival ends with a fireworks show on the penultimate day of the festival. The last day of the festival is the San Jose holiday. On this day, the statues are set on fire and the party continues well into the night.

Useful information when arriving in Valencia
