Good to know when going on holiday to Alghero: 

Your direct flight to Alghero will take about 2.5 hours with Transavia. You will land at Alghero Airport Fertilia (AHO). The city centre is easily and quickly accessible from the airport. Public transportation in Alghero, like a bus, will take you there in 15 minutes. With a taxi, you’ll be even quicker. A ride to the centre will take you no more than 10 minutes. If you want to see more of gorgeous Sardinia, then hire a car or a scooter. That allows you to explore the beautiful coastline yourself. The weather in Alghero is great. In summer, the sun shines bright and temperatures hover around 28 °C. In spring and autumn, temperatures are between 15 °C – 25 °C. Even in winter, with temperatures around 10 – 15 °C, it is a lot nicer than in the Netherlands.
