Climb the tower for a wonderful view over the city. Not far from the church you will find Cathedral Square with the Cathedral of Riga. The Freedom Monument and the famous Town Hall Square with the House of the Blackheads are also a stone’s throw from here. Worked up an appetite? Riga is a great place to visit in summer as well as in winter. Whereas in the summer you can enjoy the sunny weather at a pavement café, the city is like a fairy-tale in the winter.
